Spring is almost here and so I am flirting around with the idea of maxi skirts and midi skirts, a lot of the Spring runways were sporting them from all the big names such as Jil Sander, Ellie Saab and Alexander McQueen to name but a few. The length of these skirts helps to elongate any height and is derived from the nature theme predicted for S/S 11 and so creates the waterfall look. I have always been interested in the flows of the skirts and how they can brighten up any look and so here are a few looks off the runway …
Ellie Saab Alexander McQueen

Asos has a surprisingly large amount to offer and these are 4 of my favourites to choose from. Prices varied from £29.99 to £45 which is very reasonable for a student on a limited price range.
TOPSHOP.com With prices from £38 ranging to £40
ZARA UK This camel skirt was £59.99.
